It’s almost a year since today when Reliance Jio said while launching his Jio Phone that it is a ‘smart’ feature phone. The user’s complaint was that there is no support for popular apps like WhatsApp, Facebook and YouTube. If the time was over, it was possible to use Facebook in the live phone. But users were not able to enjoy Facebook and WhatsApp on their Jio Phone so far. Now there is great news in this regard for the Geo Phone user. At the annual meeting of Reliance Industries, the company announced that all Jio-Phone users will be able to enjoy Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube from August 15.

Giving this information, Mukesh Ambani, chief of Reliance Industries, said that these three popular apps will be available commercially from August 15 for all jio phone users. It is possible that Beta Testing of these apps is running for the selected live phone user. It is worth noting that in February this year, a special version of the Facebook app was made available in Jio Phone. Be aware that Geo’s Smart 4G feature phone works on web-based moss operating system. Talking about the existing Facebook app, it supports syncing with push notifications, video, external link in the Geo Phone. Also, this app supports cursor feature in the live phone news feed and photos.

A sim jio phone has a 2.4-inch QWVGA (240×320 pixels) display. It has 1.2 GHz Spread rum SPRD 9820A / QC8905 dual-core processor. The Mali-400 GPU is integrated. Along with 512 MB of RAM. Inbuilt storage is 4 GB and you will be able to use up to 128 GB MicroSD card.

There is a 2-megapixel camera on the back. And there is a VGA camera on the front panel.  jio Phone’s battery is 2000 mAh. It has been talking time of up to 12 hours and standby time of up to 15 days has been claimed. The connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth V 4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, FM radio, GPS and USB 2.0 support.
